I have regularly schedule times on the weekend when I write. After a walk on Sat, and before a walk on Sunday. I rewrite a lot and do not get caught up with perfectionism because of the extensive rewrites. That’s what works for me.

if you don’t mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your thoughts prior to writing.
I have had a tough time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts
out there. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10
to 15 minutes are generally wasted simply just
trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips?
